Woodcroft Sports.

Durham’s youth recreational basketball league.

 

Woodcroft Sports youth basketball programs are for children ages 7-15. Woodcroft basketball is a recreational league. Our programs emphasize player development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.

 

Players will receive a jersey and should bring their own basketball to practice.

 

Games for the upcoming basketball season will be played on Friday evenings and Saturdays with one game per weekend. An 8-game schedule is planned, weather permitting. Practices will be one night per week, Monday–Thursday.

 

Games are played on Friday nights or Saturday mornings or afternoons. The season will run from mid-November through early-February with a winter break that matches the Durham Public School system calendar.

 

AGE GROUPS

Woodcroft Sports offers separate leagues for boys and girls.

Boys age groupings will be 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15 and 16-17

Girls age groupings will be 7-8, 9-10, and 11-15.

AGE GROUPS

 

The player’s age as of October 15th will determine their age group.

 

A copy of the player's birth certificate is required for all new participants and should be sent in with your registration.

 

To keep league play fair and safe there will be no exceptions to age limit guidelines.
